*Just call me "Mother of the Year!"
Okay.... I don't eat breakfast! (and this would be why I shouldn't!) However this morning I was hungry and so I decided to grab a quick something while feeding Madi her bottle. Brice had bought some bagel sandwich things, they are called bagelfuls. The have the cream cheese already in them. I put one in the microwave to heat it up. As I went to pull it out it was hotter than I thought it would be and I dropped it. The ends are not sealed so as I dropped it on the stove the cream cheese splattered out and onto Madison's arm! It was HOT and she started to cry. I wiped it off and tried to put a cold pop can on it. She didn't want the pop can on her arm, she wanted to put it up to her mouth!!! (I've really got to stop drinking pop!) Anyway.... I called my peditrician's office and they told me to give her Ibuprofen, put some bascitracin on it and keep it covered. Poor little thing! I felt so bad!

*Fruits of my labor
Here are a few things out of my garden. The strawberries are really yummy. If I can keep the potato bugs off them long enough for them to ripen. I love to go out and look at the garden. It fascinates me that I have grown these things. I really need to know what I am doing better... but I am still having a good time playing gardner! Keep you posted!

*Two Years
Today was our second wedding anniversary! I know that two years isn't a huge milestone, but still it is a milestone and I will plant it in my path of life. It was an amazing day two years ago. To marry the love of my life in the temple for time and eternity, so this will always be a day that I want to celebrate!
We didn't do much of a celebratory nature today. Brice had asked my mom last month if she would watch Madison. (I was very impressed with his forethought in this manner!) Our original plan was to run away for dinner and to spend the night at a bed and breakfast. However with the craziness of this week I just didn't feel we could do that! So instead we went to dinner at the Mikado, a restaurant that I wanted to go to, and then just spent some time together. We haven't had much alone time together since our little princess came along.
Anyway, all in all it was a nice day. Tonight as I was holding my little Madison, putting her to sleep, I again thought "what a great life I have!" It's not perfect. It's not easy. However I do think I have been VERY blessed in my life and I am thankful for it!
Honey... I love you very much. Our road has definite not been the smoothest, but I'm glad to be walking it with you. I know there are things that try to pull us apart. I want you to know how grateful I am that you keep pulling to keep us together. It means so much to me all that you do for me. I know that you would give me the moon if I asked for it, and you could get it! I know that everything you do is for me and Madison. I love you so much. I know that our little family is meant to be. I am so grateful for you and our sweet little Madison! You have made my dreams come true! Happy anniversary babe. Here's to many more to come!

*Sleeping Baby
I walked into Madi's room this morning to check on her and this is how I found her! I love it when babies do this. This is the first time I have found her like this, but it was cute. Of course I took a picture of it!!

*Eight Months Old!!!
Eight months ago today I was in the hospital. My life had changed completely, FOREVER!! I can't believe that it has been eight months. Life has gone so quickly. I LOVE BEING A MOM!!! I love every minute of it! It is amazing how quickly she has changed. I am amazed at all that she can do. She is just seconds away from crawling. She already tries to pull herself up. She is a pro at gurgling. She loves to give me raspberries on my arms. I love her laugh and she has such a sweet smile. She is such a happy baby! Everyone comments on how content she is. This is quickly changing I have noticed this past week. She is starting to know what she wants and when she is not getting it!! :) This poor child... she has been photographed and photographed and photographed!
