*Shopping!!!! (Said with Attitude!)

I don't know where the child gets it from... sure not from me, but she loves to "play" shopping. From the time she could crawl (I am not making this up) she would put the handles of the diaper bag or whatever bag she could reach and put it over her shoulder/neck and then crawl around. Once she started walking she would do the same thing. It is quite humorous to watch. She will put her bags over her shoulder turn to me and wave and walk out of the room.

Tonight I had to go to Petco and get some hay for my chickens. I loaded Madi and Sadie in the car and off we went. When we walked in they had the little kid carts so I thought "why not?" I lead Madison over to them and she IMMEDIATELY knew what to do! She was behind the handle bars and guiding that thing around the store. I was so impressed with how she was maneuvering around the aisle like a pro! She was so dang cute!!! I am going to have to start frequenting stores that have these.

*Thank you!

It's a small phrase, but when said sincerely it is powerful. I am a HUGE believer in saying that you. I want Madison to say it as well. I have been trying to teach Madi sign language, and she has done really well. She can say "cookie", "please" and "more" with the best of them!!! Anyway, whenever I say "thank you" I always do the sign as well. Today my mom was here to watch Madison as I went to work. As mom was getting ready to go home I said "Madison tell Grandma 'thank you'". SHE DID IT!!! It was so cute! Just a quick little flick of her hand, but I was so proud! I can't believe how much she is growing. Tonight she also went up to the bathroom door that Brice had closed and said "Hey Dad!" I don't know if she meant to put the words together, but it was cute! WOW I love this kid!

*Private vs. Public

Just before Madison was born I decided that I would make my blog private.
I had heard A LOT of crazy stocker stories about blog stockers. Then when Madison was about 7 months old we were up in Park City and there are the restaurant we were waiting for a table at was a girl who's blog I follow. She didn't know who I was, but I knew all about her life.
Brice said "go say hi to her!" I was like "NO WAY!"
I didn't because I didn't want to be one of those "crazy stockers" I had heard about!
Now, for the past several months, I have wondered if I should go public again....
Not that I have anything interesting to say, and heaven knows I don't update this little blog of mine very often. I have had these thoughts ever since I found
Stephanie Nelson's blog, otherwise known as NieNie Dialogues.
I am sure when she started her blog she didn't think it would turn into what it is now.
However, she has touched the lives of so many. 5 million hits last month alone! That's A LOT of lives to be a part of. I thought of all the love and support she has received from her readers. I wonder how many people she has introduced to the gospel just because they read her. Maybe they haven't joined the church, but now they are aware of what the church
is about and have a great example of a member.
It is still something that I am kicking around. Like I said, I don't really have anything
all that interesting that I write about. However you never know who might benefit
from the experiences in our lives. Anyway... just thoughts for now.
